CRS Rental Policy & Procedures (6/17/10)

1. We want to treat everyone fairly, so we ask that all renters follow these rules, without exception.

2. At all times, please be respectful of the Center and of the other therapists and clients.

3. Incense, candles and aromatherapy oils may not be burned. No other flames or fires are permitted.

4. The sound level (whether from music, speaking, singing, or any other source) must be kept to a level that does not disturb other activities, therapists, and clients in the Center.

5. If you use one of our massage tables, you must cover it, either with sheets/blankets that your bring or with a disposable sheet ($1) and disposable headrest cover ($.25) that you purchase from CRS. This fee is in addition to any room rental fee that you may be charged. 

6. Massage oils or lotions or other substances that may drip onto the floor may not be used. Creams may be used if you are careful not to get any on the table, door knobs, floor, or other furnishings. In any event, please be sure to clean up completely after yourself so that the next therapist to use the room will have no complaints.

7. All rooms and resources of the Center must be restored to the condition in which they were found. Leaving garbage (outside the garbage cans), powder, residue, etc. may result in a loss of rental privileges. Renters are liable for any damages. Spills on the floor must be cleaned up immediately!

8. If you need any extra time to set up before your session or to clean up after, you must include this time in your rental reservation. You may not be able to enter your reserved room earlier than you have booked it, and you may not be able to stay later.

9. Rental fees are computed according to the period of time that the therapist reserves a room. Any additional time that a therapist or his client occupies a room will be charged to the therapist as well. For example, if you reserves a room from 5-6 PM, but your client is late and you begin the session at 5:10, end at 6:15 and vacate the room at 6:30, then you would be charged for 90 minutes of use. If you enter a room late or vacate early, you are still responsible for paying 100% of the fee for the entire time you had scheduled.

10. Appointment Cancellation/No-Show Policy: If you wish to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance, or you will be billed 50% of the rental fee for the scheduled rental. You may, however, re-schedule for another time on that same day only without penalty. If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, you will still be billed 50% of the due rental fee. Late fees must be paid before you may reserve or use any of the rooms again. For our Cancellation Policy for sessions booked outside our normal business hours, please see Rule #7 above.

11. Rooms must be completely cleaned, restored, and vacated by the end of your scheduled session. Failure to vacate a room by the scheduled time may result in the interruption of your session. REMEMBER: Someone else may have reserved the room after you! If you wish to occupy a room longer than the time reserved, please ask the Center staff about availability prior to beginning your session.

12. Bookings outside our normal business hours will only be accepted at the discretion of CRS, and will only be confirmed upon advance payment of the rental fee, which will be non-refundable.

13. All rental fees are to be paid by the renter (therapist) and not by the therapist’s client(s) or student(s). Any financial arrangement that the renter and client make is between them, and the Center will not make change or act as a go-between. Any alteration in the arrangement between renter and client, such as the duration of the session or the fee, will in no case alter the amount that the renter must pay for the scheduled room rental.

14. Payment is due no later than immediately following the conclusion of the rental session.

15. The Center neither endorses nor certifies the competency or licensure of any therapist or instructor renting space at the Center. The renters are not employed by or chosen by the Center.

16. Personal belongings or equipment may not be stored in the therapy rooms or studio outside of scheduled rental periods.

17. The Center is not responsible for any possessions belonging to any visitors to the Center.

18. The Center is not responsible for the health or well-being of any client being seen by any therapist or instructor at the Center if the therapist/instructor is merely renting space at the Center and is not an employee of the Center.

19. At all times, practice love and forgiveness toward other visitors and staff of the Center. Remember who you are—and enjoy yourself!  

20. No street shoes may be worn at any time on the marley dance floor in the CRS Studio. For certain events such as receptions and performances, we may be able to roll up the marley but this will have to be agreed to in writing.
