クリストファー・ペルハム（Christopher Pelham) はDharma Road Production (=Center for Remembering and Sharing) の設立者であると同時に、CRS でディレクターを務めています。ヒーリングとアートという二つのフィールド、二つの組織の奇跡的な融合はクリストファーの人生において今もなお最も深い興味の対象となっています。実際に、これらの目的は参加者、観客、コミュニティの意識レベルを高めるという点で共通しており、また、そこに到達するまでの方法も大部分が同じなのです。例えば、スピリチュアルな「本当の自分」を見出すこと、「内なる教師」の言葉に耳を傾け身を委ねること、また、神のユニークな贈り物である「才能」を通してそれぞれ学んだことをを共に分つことなど、アートもヒーリングも同じ方法を通じて意識レベルが高められるのです。彼の CRSとDharma Roadでの 仕事の一環として、前衛的／国際的なパフォーマンスアーティスト達のキュレーション、プロデュースなどがあります。1997年の初プロデュースをきっかけに、世界中から大勢の有能なアーティスト達を世に発表してきました。

Dharmaのアーティスト達とともに、クリストファーはパフォーマー、ライター、コラボレーター、プロデューサー、ビデオグラファーと多種多彩な役割を果たしてきました。デューク大学で、演劇、二十世紀文学（植民地独立後文学）を学び、ノースキャロライナ大学院でアメリカ文学を１学期間学んだ後に、演劇の世界へと戻り、Rodrigo Dorfmanの作品Fassbinder’s Blood on the Cat’s Neckに警察官役として参加しています。その後はデューク大学のヒップポケットシアターに四シーズン参加しており、フォートワース（テキサス）のアンフィシアターにてDabloidsをはじめとしたワールドプレミアの数々にも参加しました。R. Crumb Comix IIIでは Robert Crumb役を務めています。

1995年、NYCに拠点を移し、ジョン・オズボーン・ヒューズ（John Osborne Hughes）の元で演技を学び、即興舞台の公演をグローリア・マドックス（Gloria Maddox）、デイヴィッド・マシュー・プライオー（David Matthew Prior）と共に行うことになります。更にMadWomanoftheWoodsプロダクションのメンバーとして、Antgione Through Time、An Absolute Mysteryをはじめとしたと5つのオフ・オフ・ブロードウェー作品の共同プロデュースにも携わり、同プロダクションは2000年、ミランダ・シアターにて、American Spiritsの朗読公演も行っています。HEREのアメリカン・リビングルームシリーズではレイク・サイモンズ(Lake Simons)とヘラルド・レーマン (Herald Lehmann)と共にThe Nose、Two and Two、そしてImagining Cainの制作・公演に携わりました。

クリストファーはまた、ダンス・スペースセンターにて9年間ダンスを学んでおり、主にGuido Tuveri, Jana Hicks, Rachel Feinerman, Diane McCarthy, Beth Goheen, そしてSara Neece に師事、Guido Tuveri, Mark Drahozal, Gitte BastiansenそしてNana Masudaの作品に数回出演しています。

From a young age, Christopher immersed himself in the study of various Utopian and Marxist texts and philosophies. While attending Harvard Summer School in 1986, he took a class in "Revolution & Society" and participated in various public participatory art projects in Harvard Square led by artist/writer/computer scientist Richard Gardner, who had lived for a time at the art commune outside Vienna founded by Actionist artist Otto Muehl. These two experiences and his later residency during his undergraduate years at Duke University in Epworth/SHARE (Student Housing for Academic and Residential Experimentation), fostered his commitment to the exploration and development of creative communities.
