This is an Emotional Education workshop focused on understanding the involuntary nature of our emotions, some of which are triggered by survival-based reactions. We’ll talk about pleasant, positive emotions, and what to do when we are stuck and too caught up in unpleasant emotions.

Ora Yemini Morrison LCSW & Michael Morrison LCSW are licensed psychotherapists in private practice who have done collaborative work for over 30 years in leading seminars and workshops on understanding the dynamics of human emotions and the intricacies of human experience. They both earned their Master’s degree at Carleton School of Social Work, Ottawa, Canada, and received further training in gestalt and expressive therapies, as well as methods derived from Affect Theory, Voice Dialogue, Emotionally Focused Therapy, interpersonal, object relations, and analytic theories.
