It will be a night to remember! \n \nPARTICIPATING COURSE TEACHERS (MESSENGERS)\nCarolina Corada (Venezuela\, Ibiza) \nCarolina is modern-day mystic. After discovering A Course in Miracles in 1990 and throughout the next 15 years\, she has become in one of the international well-known Course teachers in the Spanish-speaking world. She offers her teachings in conferences\, workshops\, regular sessions and with her self-inquiry method IntroDanza. Carolina’s honest healing impulse has touched the hearts of over 8\,000 men\, women and children at an international scale in Venezuela\, Colombia\, Spain\, Sweden\, Ireland\, Denmark\, UK\, USA\, Mexico and Brazil in her talks\, retreats\, conferences\, charities\, rehab centres\, international companies and through the creation and organization of the first international festival for A Course in Miracles\, the Ibiza Enlight Festival\, where teachers and students celebrate together. Carolina visited and taught at CRS in 2016. \nRosa Claudia Gómez “Cacaya” (Colombia\, USA) \n“Life has given me wonderful gifts and talents. Since childhood I felt inclined to the arts until I finally became an artist and a teacher. Painful and difficult lessons I received and thanks to the work I’ve been doing with A Course in Miracles and Ho’oponopono — this work allowing me to clean the lens through which I see life — today I have been able to transform painting into a space of spontaneous expression that blooms from within with the absolute certainty that it is not ‘me’ who paints\, but my hands being used as an instrument for God’s creation. When I began teaching the visually impaired\, I understood more what the “spiritual cleansing” meant\, and as I went deeper within\, images reached me about how would it be to Paint with my eyes closed. Each painting becomes a unique moment in which her intention is to connect with those with whom false beliefs and painful memories are shared\, so that these can be consciously or unconsciously released together. “If I am healed\, we all heal. If you are healed\, all of us are.” \nEfrat Sar-Shalom (Israel) \nIn 1987 Efrat started studying the Course with Avi. She was convinced that the lessons were written especially for her. She began to teach the Course at the same time that Avi was translating the Course with Ruth Yasur. Ruth and Efrat would go over the translation in Hebrew and compare it with the English. Then Seffi Hanegbi and Efrat met in the year 2000. After they talked of God and the desert and peace work\, they decided to create a centre for love and peace in the Judean desert in the spirit of A Course in Miracles. The name “Zman Midbar\,” came immediately to their minds. Later\, while Seffi worked on peace activities and journeys through the desert\, Efrat taught A Course in Miracles whose essence is peace\, and held resolution workshops between Arab and Jewish women. In 2009\, Efrat published Peace-Salaam-Shalom\, a book featuring quotations from A Course in Miracles about peace in Hebrew\, English and Arabic. This is the first time ever that an Arabic reader can read (in Arabic) the ideas of the Course. \nJosé Luís Molina (Madrid\, Spain) \n“I am the president of the Aurora Association for the Awakening (Asociación Aurora para el Despertar) conceived to extend A Course in Miracles. I am a student of more than 20 yrs. and follower of Rosa Mª Wynn\, translator of the Spanish text. Five years ago I abandoned my profession to dedicate myself entirely to studying the Course. I started with a Study Group in Madrid; now there are three. I regularly visit about 10 groups around Spain and have also offered workshops in Switzerland and Venezuela. My written work includes several books about the Course including Chronicles from Japan (Crónica desde Jabón). \nLuis Falçao (South Africa) \nLu was born a mystic and as young boy\, he often conversed with Jesus and believed (regardless of what others tried to teach him) that there was more to the world than meets the eye. On the 10th November 2011\, Lu experienced thirty days of Divine Revelations and in those thirty days he read the whole text of A Course in Miracles. The next day he started teaching as if he had done so his whole life. Lu has since then dedicated his life and voice to the Voice for God in the dream of illusions. Lu works as a CEO of a large multi-national company where he helps his employees\, colleagues and clients give up the idea of sacrifice and scarcity\, and to surrender to God the “fear of lack”. As a Teacher for God “disguised” as business leader\, Lu helps all he meets in the “business world” develop a deeper sense of self-awareness\, Christ Consciousness\, and the Atonement with God. \nMichel Gaymard (Mexico) \nMichel Gaymard began his journey of learning and practicing through A Course in Miracles in 2008. When he finished his studies within a group located in the Roma Colonia neighborhood of Mexico city in 2009\, he began teaching sessions based on the book\, in prisons and hospitals\, and later went on to open study groups in several places of the city. Michel later hosted an online radio program and then an online TV program based on the Course on canalG.com. He was then invited to teach in Spain\, Venezuela\, Colombia\, Ecuador\, Bolivia\, Brazil\, Argentina\, Uruguay and Chile. Paraguay\, Peru\, Costa Rica\, Italy\, Austria and Panamá will be the destinations for 2017 as well as Ibiza and the Enlight Festival. Michel Gaymard has a YouTube channel with over 900 videos and is known for teaching in a fun and entertaining way inspired by his training in the performing arts and comedy. \nPatricia Besada (Argentina) \nPatricia is one of the founders of “Milagros en Red” (Miracles on the web)\, a center for the study of A Course In Miracles that since 2001 offers learning resources for all Spanish speaking students. She also manages the website for “Milagros en Red\,” a site that has been visited by thousands and thousands of students coming from all parts in Latin America. This site also offers teaching materials from more than 25 different authors\, who gave her permission to translate them and make them freely available to the Spanish speaking ACIM community. She also participated in the International ACIM conferences held in Los Angeles (2003) and Salt Lake City (2005). She was one of the translation reviewers for Gary Renard’s book that became a milestone for all ACIM students: The Disappearance of the Universe. Her translation work has also spanned the works of Jon Mundy’s Discovering A Course in Miracles and Accept the Gift by Doctors Frances Vaughn and Roger Walsh. She is the director of the book collection “De los Milagros\,” where she has published Inspired by Miracles by Dan Joseph and the second edition of Discovering A Course in Miracles\, an exclusive edition for the Latin American market. In June\, 2013 she published her first book\, The Book of Miracles. Currently she teachers the Course in various important cities in Argentina\, Spain\, Mexico\, Peru and Chile. \nSteve Thompson (UK\, Ibiza) \nSteve became interested in spirituality after experiencing a Tony Robbins event called “Unleash the Power Within” in 2007. A whole new world opened up before him:  Reiki\, Quantum Physics\, NLP and Eastern philosophies. It was in London\, 2008 When Steve was presented with The Disappearance of the Universe and A Course in Miracles. Since then\, his book has remained open. Steve has attended many ACIM gatherings and talks within the UK\, Australia\, Denmark\, Hawaii\, USA and Ireland with teachers and students. He has been running a successful Facebook Group called True Love & Forgiveness based on ACIM for the past 8 years. He says he began his honest transformation upon his arrival to Ibiza where he started with Carolina\, the co-organization of the Enlight Festival. \nYasuko Kasaki (NYC\, Japan) \nYasuko Kasaki is an internationally beloved spiritual writer\, counselor\, healer\, lecturer and translator from Tokyo. She is widely recognized as the person most responsible for the spread of A Course in Miracles throughout Japan. In 2004 she founded CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing)\, the first and only spiritual center devoted to the teaching and practice of A Course in Miracles in New York City. She has taught and worked with thousands of people from around the world to help resolve their mental and physical issues and witness miracles. She presents at the CMC’s annual ACIM Conferences in the U.S.\, and several times a year she gives large seminars throughout Japan. Yasuko has authored 15 of books in Japanese about the Course\, as well as numerous novels\, short stories\, essays and collections of photographs. His background is found in the world of the performing arts where he has been an author\, a story teller\, an actor\, an entertainer\, and a stand-up comedian. In 2008\, whilst participating in a yoga festival\, he bought the book and began the lessons. He is currently dedicated to online training although he does occasionally offer workshops in person. He has created an online school called “Academia Nos Gustamos” (We like ourselves Academy)\, which is comprised of six monographic courses\, one online workshop\, Miracles Workers\, and an online membership club called “Nos Gustamos” (We like ourselves). He has published eight books and has another eight already written and waiting to be published. He uses quite a bit of humor in his communication and in the transmission of The Course. DESCRIPTION:CRS invites you to Shades of Green in the Light\, an immersive multi-media dialogue between sound\, video\, space and stillness improvised for us by CRS Healer and crystal singing bowl player Miyoko Satoh followed by musicians Seungmin Cha and JunYi Chow with video artist Karen Y. Chan. \nThough often fleeting\, the awareness of stillness is like entering the wilderness\, where time melts away and the senses are awakened by subtleties that become magnified. There is clarity and spaciousness in stillness that encourages the mind to wander into unexplored regions. It is an opportunity to observe\, question\, or just be present with what is there\, or more importantly\, what is not there. Some instruments that will be heard include the daegum\, a traditional Korean bamboo flute\, played by Cha\, who will also incorporate electronic sounds\, and the cello and melodion\, played by Chow. The musicians will live-score Chan’s video collage during a 60-minute improvisational set that will include moments of stillness. \nThis concert concludes Seungmin Cha’s Asian Cultural Council fellowship in NYC. Tickets are $20 and are available online\, by phone (212-677-8621) and at the door. \n\nSeungmin Cha \nphoto by Inu Nah\nEmerging as one of the most influential experimental Daegeum (Korean transverse bamboo flute) artists\, Seungmin Cha was trained in traditional music and its discourse. A graduate of the School of Music at Seoul National University\, Ms. Cha has developed her career as a solo Daegeum artist\, the director of her music ensemble Shiro as well as composer. She is performing both solo and in bands as part of the indie music scene of Seoul’s Hongdae neighbourhood. Her performances incorporate traditional (jeongga and minyo)\, indie\, experimental elements. You can see the evolution of Gugak (Korean traditional music) through her as a traditional music performer\, who is at the same time\, a contemporary composer and independent musician in the underground scene. She received a prestigious Asian Cultural Council fellowship in 2016 and is currently living in NYC until October with ACC’s support. https://seungminchamusic.com \nJunYi Chow \nphoto by Cherry Au\nMalaysia-born New York-based Composer\, Multi-instrumentalist and Improviser. Chow’s music has been lauded by Financial Times for its “skilful contrasts in both volume and texture.” His interest in music explores the indefinite possibilities of tone colour and sound\, and features a mixed musical style based on classical contemporary music\, Chinese tunes\, Gamelan music\, minimalism\, and popular music\, amongst other influences. In March 2017\, he received the Grand Prize of Best Orchestra Work by Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra International Composition Competition. His current project is “Stillness in Queens\,” a collaborative cross-disciplinary work with video artist Karen Y. Chan and is partly funded by Queens Council On The Arts. He is currently the Composer-In-Residence of Teng Company (Singapore) and Vivo Experimental Orchestra (Malaysia). DESCRIPTION:Dear friends of CRS and the Williams family\, \nCRS invites you to join us for a sound and movement meditation for Amara Williams on Thursday\, Sept 21 from 8 – 9:30 pm. We will gather monthly to remember the divine strength within ourselves and to support the family of Kenji and Sayoko Williams’ five-year-old daughter\, Amara\, who is growing up with a brain tumor and all the challenges that presents. Our minds will join with Amara’s prayer circle of hundreds of people around the world. \nFollowing a crystal singing bowl meditation (CRS healer Miyoko Satoh) and prayer circle (CRS healer Naoko Ono)\, we’ll whirl together with live percussion by Senko Nishimura and friends. Whirling is a devotional dance practice that Amara’s mother\, performing artist Lale Sayoko\, has been exploring as a way of uniting her dance practice with her prayers for her daughter. No experience is necessary. \nThe participation fee is $20 with advanced registration and $25 on Aug 17. 50% of the proceeds will support the Williams family. \nThrough whirling\, we learn to trust ourselves to go off balance\, to be dizzy\, to surrender control as we give ourselves over to prayer and connect with a greater power\, the still center within\, around which we turn\, that we may share our divine strength and bear witness to the divinity in others. \nIf you are quiet and in a state of prayer when you Turn\, offering everything of yourself to God\, then when your body is spinning\, there is a completely still point in the center… The heavens respond; and all the invisible kingdoms join in the dance. DESCRIPTION:CRS presents The Mortal Apparatus\, an exhibition of photographs of fading flowers and cityscapes by Chris Fiore. A mix of color and b&w\, the photographs are all clearly digitally manipulated and highlight the artificiality and intentionality of the photographic act. The images call attention to the often overlooked beauty that can be found in decaying objects\, natural and man-made\, suggesting how our minds look for signs of the eternal in the ephemeral and create new layers of meaning. Ultimately\, these works invite us to consider how our thoughts touch and re-make everything we look upon. \nThe exhibition opens on September 14\, 2017 and will remain on view until November 30\, 2017. An Opening Reception with the artist will take place on Friday\, September 22\, 2017 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. \nIn conjunction with the exhibition\, two free evenings of screenings of film/video work by the artist will take place on October 13 (“Goodman” and “The Red Umbrella Diaries”) and on November 10 (world premiere of “The Ken Stones:  Miami” and A(DE)SCENT”) from 7:30 – 10 pm. Seating for these screenings is limited and available on a first come\, first serve basis. \nArtist’s Exhibition Statement: \nFrom time immemorial the nature of what we value most has been defined in human terms; our families\, our villages\, our rulers\, our religions\, have defined us in ways intrinsic to our nature as people\, as father\, mother\, sister\, brother\, friend\, and neighbor\, etc. We lived in a world of barter and local currencies defined by our communities and shared needs. \nThen the industrial revolution introduced a new set of values as we had an entirely new thing to measure ourselves against: the ubiquitous machine. Mechanical things that could weave\, move\, and manufacture faster than any human began to shape the lives of millions of people who moved from farms and villages to the cities (massive machines themselves) in search of factory work. This shaping of our lives by technology and factory work has since enveloped the world and affects every aspect of our lives. \nWilling or not\, we are supplicants to the mechanical and the cybernetic. From the moment our parents sat us down in front of a screen\, be it a television\, tablet\, or phone\, automation has literally shaped our minds\, our perception of reality\, and in turn\, what we value. We are no longer strictly human and the velocity of our technologies make us less so every day. In short\, we are already cyborgs. \nArtist Statement \nThe camera is my favorite machine. To me\, the camera has transcended its nature as a mechanical device and has become something verging on a magic instrument. Capable of capturing the fleeting and the ephemeral\, of freezing light and stopping time\, of making the intimate public\, of telling profound truths and fascinating lies\, of imbuing meaning into the mundane and transforming the precious into the mechanical\, the camera is a collective third eye that has shaped the perceptions of a species. \nArtist Profile: \nFilmmaker\, writer\, and artist Chris Fiore\, born 1959 in Norfolk\, Virginia\, received his BFA from Antioch College in 1984. In the late 80’s he was one of the founders of the Zone\, a artist collective occupying an abandoned warehouse at 104 South 4th St\, in Williamsburg\, Brooklyn. Fiore showed at the East Village’s KOAP gallery in the early 90’s and in 1995 directed the underground documentary Trip and Go Naked\, winner of the Excellence in Sexual Theater award at Arlene’s Grocery Picture Show. He went on to direct the feature documentary Backstage for Miramax\, a behind the scenes look at Jay Z’s Hard Knock Life Tour. The film had a profitable run in theaters and is still occasionally in rotation on the Showtime network 17 years after it was made. Fiore has also directed documentaries on the making of the Victoria’s Secret Christmas Catalog\, the band Paramore\, as well as two prime time specials for Fox Television. His most recent documentary\, Goodwoman\, tells the story of Debra Goodman\, an activist brutally arrested for filming the NYPD. Featured in several film festivals\, Goodwoman won the Grand Jury Award at the 2016 LA Film Invasion film festival. He’s currently directing a documentary and web series on artist Ken Hiratsuka. \nFiore’s first feature film script\, The Utopia Virus\, finished in the top ten of the 2005 Final Draft Big Break screenwriting contest. He also wrote the Wassup Obama ad\, described by Salon.com as one of the most creative of the 2008 presidential campaign and winner of a Cannes Lion. He’s currently working on a series of film treatments for a Beijing based production company. \nFiore’s film work has directly influenced his art over the years\, in his use of appropriated imagery\, presentation of sequential images\, and in the cinematically dynamic composition of his mosaic photography. DESCRIPTION:Dear friends of CRS and the Williams family\, \nCRS invites you to join us for a sound and movement meditation for Amara Williams on Thursday\, Aug 17 from 8 – 9:30 pm. We will gather monthly to remember the divine strength within ourselves and to support the family of Kenji and Sayoko Williams’ five-year-old daughter\, Amara\, who is growing up with a brain tumor and all the challenges that presents. Our minds will join with Amara’s prayer circle of hundreds of people around the world. \nFollowing a crystal singing bowl meditation (CRS healer Miyoko Satoh) and prayer circle (CRS healer Naoko Ono)\, we’ll whirl together with live percussion by Senko Nishimura and friends. Whirling is a devotional dance practice that Amara’s mother\, performing artist Lale Sayoko\, has been exploring as a way of uniting her dance practice with her prayers for her daughter. No experience is necessary. \nThe participation fee is $20 with advanced registration and $25 on Aug 17. 50% of the proceeds will support the Williams family. \nThrough whirling\, we learn to trust ourselves to go off balance\, to be dizzy\, to surrender control as we give ourselves over to prayer and connect with a greater power\, the still center within\, around which we turn\, that we may share our divine strength and bear witness to the divinity in others. \nIf you are quiet and in a state of prayer when you Turn\, offering everything of yourself to God\, then when your body is spinning\, there is a completely still point in the center… The heavens respond; and all the invisible kingdoms join in the dance.
