DESCRIPTION:BLAZING A NEW TRAIL\ndir. by Yasuko Iwasaki • 2013 • Japan • 90′ documentary \nToshiya Miyata\, who is called Miyapu\, suffered a brainstem hemorrhage. He was supposed to remain in a state of locked-in syndrome and not regain consciousness and he would never move\, like in a vegetative state. But he is gradually recovering with the help of his friends. We have not recognized many possibilities yet. I believe this film encourages a lot of people. Despair turns into hope. The hope starts playing beautiful symphonies. \n\nKatsuko Yamamoto Films\, Lectures & Dinner Reception \nKatsuko “Kakko-chan” Yamamoto\, the subject of the documentary film\, “Miracle of the Gifted Quarter\,” is coming to New York to give lectures and present her films at “The Kakko-chan Festival.” While “Miracle of the gifted Quarter” has had showings many times at CRS and in NY\, Kakko-chan will introduce some of her other films\, along with accompanying lectures. \nKakko-chan was trained as a special education teacher\, and she is someone who can easily connect with each student to find their abilities and draw them out. She was loved by all children in the school and inspired them to return that feeling\, to give that love back to her. \nOn the train one day\, she encountered a scene where a Yakuza (Japanese mafia) was threatening people. She went to the Yakuza\, hugged him and said to him “Don’t be afraid anymore. DESCRIPTION:It is unbearable for me to think that you have thoughts but cannot communicate to others\, even for as short as one second. I have worked in special needs schools for a long time. Consequently I have learnt through my children with special needs that\, even if one looks unconscious\, everyone has feelings and thoughts. And what is more\, they can hear\, see\, and understand everything. Another thing they have taught me is that the human body and brain have tremendous powers of recovery. If you do not give up\, communication is possible and they will be able to recover. SUMMARY:CRS Sound Healing Circle
DESCRIPTION:This month CRS Founder ACIM teacher/writer/counselor Yasuko Kasaki\, CRS healer Miyoko Satoh\, and dancer Lale Sayoko join our Circle. We’ll start with Miyoko’s crystal singing bowl meditation. Then we’ll journey. Last month was the time for shaking loose the old. June is a month where our seeds begin to bear fruit — Strawberry Moon! Yasuko will lead us in a short prayer to focus our minds on harvesting our limitless abundance\, and Lale Sayoko will close the circle with a demonstration of Sufi dance meditation. \nThe fee is $20 through June 21 and $25 on June 22. \nOur purpose\, guided by our devoted study and practice of A Course in Miracles\, is to remind one another that we are one and the same\, always already perfect expressions of love. Therefore\, we will be training ourselves to look for and find such reminders in all of our visions and experiences. While the forms of our activities draw on or are adapted from various shamanic and healing traditions\, we do not seek to hold up any particular forms as essential or superior in and of themselves. Any form or experience could be used to remember who we truly are and to join with others. We will be using these particular forms simply because we enjoy them! \nCRS Co-Founder Christopher Pelham will lead the circle this month. Chris has a background in ensemble and improvisational theatre and has been studying ACIM since 2003 and offering healing and spiritual counseling since 2013. He leads the Monday night guided meditation and Healing Clinic at CRS\, teaches A Course of Love on Wednesday nights\, participates in the Tuesday night Healing Clinics and assists Yasuko in the leading of the Monday night ACIM Classes.

Thank you.” This farm uses no agrichemicals or fertilizers. Bugs and weeds are accepted. \nThe farm’s operation used to generate a lot of stress and conflict within its owner’s family. Finally ready to abandon the farm\, the family was struck by a greater tragedy. Their son\, Daichi\, suddenly passed away. With his final words\, he vowed to protect his family. The family began questioning how they were living and how to make sense of their son’s passing. His name\, Daichi\, means ground. They decided to remain close to the earth and not only keep the farm but greet the ground and plants that grow in it everyday to say I love you and thank you to their son. \n\n\n\nDirector Yasuko Iwasaki is a film director and producer\, a coaching facilitator\, and the president of Heart of Miracle\, an incorporated non-profit organization in Japan. She established the E･E project with Mr. Takahiro Ono to create documentary films for empowering people. She met Ms. Fumiko Irie and helped her to create the film “Miracle of The Gifted Quarter – Life’s Truth Revealed.” Over 120\,000 people watched the film by the end of 2011. The film has been shown by volunteers in non-profit screenings\, and it is further extending through out the world. In 2008 she directed and completed a film “The Universal Principle – How Everything is Created with Love.” In order to distribute those films\, she established Heart of Miracle. In addition to film distribution\, she wishes to create opportunities for people to communicate mutually through films. It is love that can make miracles. It is a source of infinite power which sits deep in everyone’s heart.

DESCRIPTION:CRS presents an exhibition of paintings by French artist Philippe Halaburda. Philippe is a multidisciplinary artist who engages with the urban surroundings environment and emotions\, feelings or memories from his direct experiences\, mainly though colors. The exhibition will be on view from July 13 – September 13\, 2017. \nPhilippe’s work explores into his own unlimited and unconscious psychological territories and delves into the complex undercurrents of intimate and collective relationships.Through paintings\, abstracted photos and digital artworks\, he tries to address more broadly the emotional structures within ourselves in the attempt to examine our world. He is interested in developing a new visual language with which to describe the randomness of cities and their relationship to human experience. \nPhilippe Halaburda’s Bio \nPhilippe Halaburda was born in France in 1972. He received his Diploma in 1995\, Superior Degree Graphic Art School from the EDTA Sornas School\, Paris. He has lived in and exhibited from Paris (France) to Zurich and Berne (Switzerland). He spent 15 years in Aix-en-Provence working  as a graphic arts director. Halaburda’s paintings and drawings have been exhibited throughout the US\, in Canada\, Europe (France\, Italy\, Spain\, Ger- many\, Austria\, Belgium) and Australia. \nHe was a guest resident of the Villa Baulieu Workshop in Aix-en-Provence between 2008. His work is in the collection of many corporate and non-profit institutions including the Radar (Bayeux\, France)\, Draguignan permanent Art Collection (Draguignan\, France) and the Villa Baulieu Art Collection (Aix-en-Provence\, France). His work is in private collections in the United States\, France\, Belgium\, Spain\, Italy\, Switzerland\, Canada\, The Netherlands and China. He’s now represented by several galleries in the USA and France. \nHe lives in Williamsburg\, Brooklyn and works in the Brooklyn artist community of Bushwick at 56 Bogart Street. www.halaburda.com
