SUMMARY:Rose Healing Ceremony Class
DESCRIPTION:Delivered straight from the patron saint of Mexico\, Virgin de la Guadalupe\, a Rose Healing Ceremony uses the power of roses by placing them delicately on the body to raise its energetic state to the highest frequency. In fact\, roses have the highest vibration on the planet — pulsating up to 320 MHz! Considering a healthy body pulsates at 62 to 78 MHz units\, this is a megadose of high vibrational love! The ceremony delivers divine feminine energy and unconditional love to the body\, mind\, and soul. This class is great for individuals and couples alike! \nAs the story goes\, this healing modality was channeled by a man in Mexico who was grieving the imminent loss of his son to a terminal illness. After persistent prayers to the patron saint\, he was guided to hold single roses above the boy’s body. They each swung wildly\, signaling to the man that he should lay them there. Upon waking the next morning\, he saw his son playing in the room and completely healed\, while the roses were on the ground shriveled up. They appeared to soak up the illness and negative energy throughout the night! \nIn this class\, you will learn how to give a Rose Healing Ceremony as well as receive one. Everyone will receive healing on all levels\, but this class is especially recommended for those who: \n\n\nNeed nurturing \n\n\nAre healing from heartbreak or grief \n\n\nStruggle with anxiety and depression \n\n\nNeed to open and heal their heart chakra \n\n\nHave a hard time connecting with their emotions \n\n\nNeed to connect with their femininity and have more softness in their lives \n\n\nWant to attract a relationship or want to have more love in their relationship \n\n\nAre very action-oriented and need to practice being in more of a state of receptivity \n\n\n\n\nPlease book here. \n\n* * PLEASE BRING A DOZEN ROSES TO THE CLASS.* * \nAbout Christine + Brendon \nTwin flame husband-and-wife team\, Christine and Brendon\, are naturally gifted energy healers and intuitives. SUMMARY:Exhibition: Ne-ko — Paintings by Hiroki Otsuka
DESCRIPTION:CRS is proud to present “Ne-Ko\,” an exhibition featuring a selection of sumi-e or ink paintings by Japanese artist and illustrator Hiroki Otsuka. Fusing traditional black ink wash with fluid brushwork reminiscent of Japan’s rich artistic legacy with playful portrayals of cats\, Otsuka produces a striking visual formula that is both whimsical and refined. This exhibition will open on October 22 and will be on view through November 30. There will be an opening reception with the artist on Saturday\, November 10\, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm. \nCats are beloved in Japanese culture as symbols of good fortune\, and have long claimed a monopoly on cuteness in mainstream media. Otsuka employs the varying shades and subtle tones of ink washes alongside animated brush strokes to capture the vibrant spirit\, graceful movement\, poise\, and yes\, cuteness\, of the world’s favorite felines. \nABOUT HIROKI OTSUKA  \nA professional comic book illustrator since 1994\, Brooklyn-based Japanese artist/illustrator Hiroki Otsuka has illustrated for a number of major Japanese publications. In 2005\, Hiroki Otsuka’s focus shifted from graphic to fine arts\, working predominantly with traditional sumi ink used in Japanese calligraphy. Hiroki Otsuka’s debut solo show at Brooklyn’s Stay Gold Gallery in 2005 prompted The New Yorker to write that his works “push the populist youth quotient through the roof.” Since then\, his work has appeared in galleries throughout the United States and Japan\, and has been featured in international art fairs in New York\, Tokyo and Basel\, Switzerland. He’s been exhibited at major art institutions such as The Museum of Contemporary Art\, Los Angeles (Nothing Moments\, 2007) and in academic settings such as Pittsburgh University Art Gallery (Making Faces: Depiction of Women in Japan from Edo to Today\, 2009). In 2007\, Hiroki Otsuka was featured in Japan Society’s centennial exhibition Making a Home\, curated by Eric C. Shiner\, that highlighted 33 Japanese contemporary artists living and working in New York. Berlin’s Kunstraum Richard Sorge held a major exhibition of Hiroki Otsuka’s paintings and murals in 2009 entitled Everything to More. The same year\, Otsuka provided the integrated illustrations for choreographer Jeremy Wade’s critically acclaimed multimedia dance there is no end to more\, a Japan Society commission which had its world premiere in New York in December 2009. Hiroki Otsuka served as Japan Society’s first-ever manga artist-in-residence during the exhibition Graphic Heroes\, Magic Monsters: Japanese Prints by Utagawa Kuniyoshi from the Arthur R. Miller Collection. Most recently\, a show of new work\, “Men and Cats\,” has been hung at the Wayfarers Gallery in Brooklyn\, and in the Woodland/Shimko Galleries in Provincetown\, Mass. and Palm Springs. https://www.hirokiotsuka.nyc \nARTIST STATEMENT \nNe-Ko \nCats have captivated Japanese artists for more than a thousand years. In the Tale of Genji\, the masterwork of 11th century literature\, a cat sets the plot in motion by knocking over a screen\, and the moment has been captured time and again in prints and paintings. With the arrival of ukiyo-e\, the woodblock printing style of the 17th century\, the homes of Japan became populated by the world’s first great wave of cat art\, featuring the animals both in their natural form and walking upright in kimonos. Perhaps it is not surprising that Hello Kitty\, the most famous illustrated feline\, also comes from Japan. \nHiroki Otsuka’s work consistently mixes the media and methods of high and popular art. In “Ne-Ko\,” which means cat in Japanese\, he approaches this time-honored subject. Otsuka uses the traditional\, black-ink style of sumi painting to capture the animals’ pose and self-possession. But it is his eye as a manga cartoonist of 25 years that gives his subjects the motion and playfulness that has endeared them to their human companions. \nABOUT THE CURATOR \nExhibition Curator Reina Miyake is a recent graduate of Vassar College with a BA in Art History. She is a lifelong resident of NYC\, which cultivated her love of visual art and the color black. This is her first time curating an exhibition.

From an early age\, Cesar studied piano\, drawing\, painting\, soccer\, and eventually trumpet. As he strove to attain a formal dance education he encountered his first yoga teacher. In 2004\, Cesar devoted himself to the ancient practice of Yoga and began to unravel his own body’s wisdom. The allied arts of Yoga and Dance became his tools of self-inquiry and self-expression. Cesar practices and specializes in Asthanga and Hatha Yoga. While training as a triathlete\, Cesar experienced a time of inner awakening and an acquisition of an intelligent and constructive way to hone the power of will to train the body both mentally and kinesthetically. Cesar takes the psycho-physical balance he attained as an athlete and directes it into his yoga practice. He has been teaching yoga\, and embracing also other forms of energy work like Tai-Chi Chuan and Qi-Gong. \nRebecca Blomberg\nShe was born in Gothenburg\, Sweden but spent most of her childhood in Malaysia and Egypt. She has trained in a variety of dancestyles including hip hop\, ballet\, breaking\, acrobatics\, bachata\, and Salsa both cuban\, line style on 1 and New York style on 2. It was in Egypt her love for dance grew strong. After returning back to Sweden at the age 12\, she began dancing at many different dance schools all around in Gothenburg. At 19 years old she backpacked around South and Central America to explore different Latin dancestyles. It was in Cuba her passion for salsa developed. After training and teaching in Gothenburg she moved to New York City where she graduated with exellence at Broadway Dance Center and at Peridance Capezio Center NYC. During her first year in New York\, she auditioned for the world famous\, exceptionally talented director and dancer Shani Talmor. The audition was to be a part of her Lady styling team ”Shani’s Girls”. Although she auditioned for the semi-pro team Shani was so impressed by her that she put her directly on the pro team. After travelling around America with Shani’s Girls and performing for almost two years\, she returned back home to Sweden. Although Rebecca had already made plans to return to New York she started performing with a bachata team in Gothenburg. It was at one of their bachata shows that the dancer\, choreographer and director Adriana Mendes noticed her. She was asked to join Adriana’s successful salsa lady styling team ”Salseras.” The first major performance was at the Berlin Salsa Congress\, where the show impressed the world salsa champion BNF director and founder Eider Rúa. He immediately invited the team to perform as his special guests in the 3rd Dubai Latin Festival. Together with Salseras Rebecca continued to perform in Gothenburg\, Stockholm\, and Los Angeles. When returning to New York City\, she started training with Baila Society. She auditioned for the team and was one of the three\, out of more than 50 people applying that was picked to join the team. Shortly after the Founding Partner and Artist Director Daniel Enskat chose her as his dance partner to perform at Nordic Fund Selection Forum in Stockholm in front of an audience of the leading investors and asset managers in Scandinavia. She also performed with Baila Society at the Peridance Capezio Center 31st Anniversary Gala and at Cielo Latino Gala in New York City. The night ended very successfully with donations of 1 million dollars. As of her return to New York City she had been working with music video directors Ulysses & Jessy Terrero\, where she got a principal roll in the music video “Forgiveness” by Enrique Iglesias & Nicky Jam and was also featured in “Borro Cassette” by Maluma.

SUMMARY:Crossing Boundaries Concert Series Vol. 3: 7 word chanting 靈山會相 & tea ceremony
DESCRIPTION:CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) presents 7 word chanting Yeongsanhoesang 靈山會相\, featuring Korean traditional music performed by gamin (piri\, saenghwang) and Min Kyung Park  (haegeum) accompanied by a tea ceremony performed by Korean tea master Sei-Ryun Chun. Following the performance\, there will be a short talk about Korean tea ceremony and Q&A with the artists. \nFor this event\, which is Vol. 3 of the Crossing Boundaries — Echoes of Korea — Concert Series curated by gamin\, she would like to introduce the Korean concept of Pungnyu\, which is defined as an artistic form of recreation incorporating elements of nature\, life\, and art. Pungnyu is intrinsic to a tasteful lifestyle and to Koreans’ collective and individual entertainment culture. It literally means “streams of wind.” Sharing tea\, playing music\, writing\, and observing the changing of the seasons are traditional pastimes used for transcending the material or secular aspects of life and cultivating a peaceful mind. Participating in a tea ceremony quiets the mind and opens the senses\, allowing us to experience more of the subtlety and depth of the music performance. \nBoth the music and tea ceremony presented in this program have been handed down to us from medieval Buddhist practices. As Buddhism in Korea fell in and out of favor through the centuries\, both the music and the tea ceremony were frequently revised to serve the times. Artists today continue to find ways to explore and extend these traditional art forms in ways that speak to the present moment and connect us not only to our heritage but to one another. \nTickets are $25 and are available online\, by phone (212-677-8621)\, and at CRS. Students/seniors with valid ID are $15 at the door. \nCROSSING BOUNDARIES — ECHOES OF KOREA\, curated by gamin (piri\, taepyeonso\, saenghwang)\, provides musicians from Korea with space to experiment with the new\, to collaborate across genres\, cultures and disciplines\, and to explore new ways of using creative communication to facilitate a shared practice of presence. The goal is to dissolve boundaries between performers and audiences\, the traditional and contemporary\, classical and experimental\, Korea and the world. Participants in the series are encouraged to incorporate meditation\, improvisation\, and collaborations with visual and movement-based artists as well as musical artists from different traditions. \nAbout the Program \nTea ceremony by Sei-Ryun Chun\nPiri & saenghwang played by gamin\nHaegeum played by Min Kyung Park \nOriginally a vocal piece with lyrics drawing on the words of the Buddha’s sermon in Mount Yeongsan\, India\, Yeongsanhoesang became purely instrumental in the 15th century. The music has undergone continuous change with the current version taking form sometime in the 19th century. There are many versions of the suite\, which typically includes 8–9 pieces. While the genesis of the suite is not completely certain\, the first piece of the suite\, “Sangryeongsan” appears to be the foundation for the suite. The following pieces in the suite include variations on “Sangryeongsan\,” as well as standard musical forms and dance pieces of the Joseon era (1392-1910). “Sangryeongsan\,” the slowest and longest piece in the suite\, progresses gracefully and gently like the flow of water. \nThe Korean tea ceremony is distinguished by its emphasis on preparing and enjoying tea with a natural manner and minimum of ritualized formality. Originally\, it was directly connected with Buddhist practices\, but today it can be enjoyed by everyone. Cha (tea) was introduced to Korea around the 6th or 7th century from China. Some Korean scholars or Buddhist monks who traveled to China probably brought tea with them and began to drink in Korea. In the Goryeo dynasty (918-1392)\, Korean tea culture became popular with the rise of Buddhism as a national religion. During the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910)\, the Korean tea culture declined as Confucianism replaced Buddhism as a spiritual mainstream. Buddhism was repressed and became separated from the public. In the early 19th century\, a leading Korean philosopher\, Dasan Jeong Yakyong (1762-1836)\, and the Korean Buddhist Seon (Zen) master Chou Uisun (1786-1866)\, known as the “Father of Korean Tea\,” played key roles in reviving the long lost Korean tea tradition\, which continues today. \nAbout the Artists \nTea master Sei Ryun Chun was born in Busan\, Korea in 1956 and grew up in an artistic family. Majoring in fine art at Kunkuk University in 1979\, she studied sculpture and painting. After graduation\, she taught at Shinjung middle and high schools. In 1981\, she moved to America and studied etching at the New Milford Art Center in New Jersey and New York University in New York. She has also written extensively about art. She received the AHL Foundation artist’s prize in 2000. She has had 14 solo exhibitions and participated in the Miami Art Fair and Fine Art Fair San Francisco. She has been curating exhibitions in New York and New Jersey. She is currently incorporating her mastery of the traditional Korean tea ceremony into her exhibitions and presentations. seiryunchun.com \ngamin is a master practitioner of the piri\, taepyongso (double reed instruments)\, and saenghwang (reed mouth organ). Currently\, as a yisuja (designated master) of the Important Intangible Cultural Asset No.46 for piri court music and Daechita\, she strives to both preserve and enhance traditional Korean music. At Seoul National University and as a member and assistant principal player of the Contemporary Gugak Orchestra\, Gamin has used her virtuosity to perform authentic jeongak (classical court music) and sinawi (shaman ritual music)\, as well as new compositions for her instruments. gamin-music.com \nHaegeum instrumentalist Minkyung Park is a recipient of the 67th Chosun Daily Debut Concert and was selected as 2006 Kumho Young Artist by Kumho Asiana Foundation for Arts and Culture\, which discovers and supports nationally talented instrumentalists. She has performed at many prestigious venues internationally including ‘tea music – longing for friends’ in NYC\, combining art performance with harmonization of various genre of music and arts. She received a B.S. and M.S in Korean Music from Seoul National University and completed a D.M.A course at Hanyang University. parkminkyung.com

SUMMARY:Exhibition: Nature in Motion — Paintings by Ayako Bando
DESCRIPTION:CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) presents “Nature in Motion\,” an exhibition of abstract acrylic paintings by Ayako Bando expressing the energy and colors of the four seasons. Although Ms. Bando has had many exhibitions the past dozen years\, these older works from 2011–12 have not been shown together until now. The exhibition will open on December 3\, 2018 and will remain on view until February 9\, 2018. You are invited to meet the artist at the CRS Holiday Program & Reception on Saturday\, December 8\, 2018 from 6 – 9:30 pm. \nWhile most of Ms. Bando’s paintings are abstract\, one can feel a strong presence of light energy in many of her works\, a feature that became even more central in her newest works recently shown in the solo exhibition “Eternal Light.” But even in the earlier works featured in “Nature in Motion\,” areas of white or light color contrast with and reach toward darker areas and suggest the play of sunshine on water or plants or clouds. One might feel the presence of a cosmic energy or intelligence animating and giving life to these abstract structures and patterns\, energizing them\, setting them in motion\, transforming them just as the light reflecting off the pigments reaches out to our eyes and enlivens our own minds and spirits. \nArtist Statement \nFor this series\, I’m trying to express the energy the nature’s atmosphere contains. And I always give my work movement. Nature has played a very big part in my desire to paint\, the sky\, the trees\, the earth and elements of this sort. There’s much good energy to absorb into one’s body\, delivered by the earth and its natural wonders\, such as the play of sunlight\, in its powerful gentle sky and the dancing leaves. In my case\, very often it is the little things in life that we see everyday but take for granted that trigger my imagination to paint. And I believe that nature is a pure presence. The light lights up the heart and brings purity. The power of nature is endless\, and I value its greatness with my body & soul. \nAbout the Artist \nAyako Bando was born in the country town of Tokushima in Japan. She was blessed to be surrounded by the beauty of nature such as mountains\, rivers\, trees and flowers. After graduating from high school she moved to Osaka to study as a Medical Coding Specialist. She worked at the hospital for four years. During this time her passion was always to paint. After leaving the hospital she studied Art in Osaka\, London\, Tokyo and New York. She has exhibited in various venues in the United States\, Japan\, Germany and Italy. In 2017 she was the recipient of Namura Award and Honorable mention for the Modern Japan Art Society Exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. Her solo exhibition “Eternal Light” was exhibited at Saint Peter’s Church in NYC in 2018 and 2017. \nhttps://ayako-bando.jimdo.com/painting/ \nEducation \n2000 Aug Art school in Osaka Painting SUMMARY:USAATO Clothing Exhibition & Sale
DESCRIPTION:CRS welcomes you to the sixth exhibition of USAATO clothing at CRS on Dec 8 & 9\, 2018! Designer Mr. Usaburo’s staff will personally help to select and coordinate the garments that would suit you best. \nDec 8 from 11 am – 5 pm in the award-winning White Room\nDec 9 in the 2nd FL Healing Room \nUSAATO shares beautiful traditional clothes made in Chiang Mai\, Thailand. The clothing is designed by Japanese haute couture designer Usaburo Sato with fabrics made by the caring hands of the Thai people. The fabrics are mostly made of hand-spun cotton\, silk and hemp\, picked in mountains and villages\, naturally dyed from plants and fruits\, then made into clothes with traditional weaving machines by women in local villages of north and northeast Thailand and Laos. The attention\, time and passion put into the creation of these clothes give it a sense of energy that can be felt on your body and in your soul. Soft and warm\, relaxing wears suitable for both outside and home. \nAll fabrics are once gathered at “USAATO SIAM” in Chiang Mai and then delivered for the sewing process. USAATO clothes are sewn by individuals and groups outbound Chiang Mai\, not by the company’s factory. (One part of our products is from machine-weaving.) \nThe products are mostly women’s clothes but men’s clothes\, children’s clothes\, samue (monk’s working clothes)\, and rakui (pajamas) are also available. Approximate prices for tops are from $70 to $180 while bottoms are from $90 to $180. \nUSAATO clothes are selling all over the world at pop-up exhibitions organized by USAATO partners called coordinators. USSATO NEW YORK will hold exhibitions every few months at CRS. \nWearing hemp clothing promotes personal health in a variety of ways. Hemp/ cotton blends are both more absorbent humid and more mildew resistant than 100% cotton. Fabric made using 50% or higher of hemp will block more UV rays than non-hemp fabrics. And have you ever noticed that hemp-made garments don’t create static? That is because hemp has the same net static charge as human skin\, resonating perfectly with our electromagnetic fields. \nFollowing the exhibition there will be a concert by world musician Chakkiri at 7 pm. Chakkiri plays using numerous instruments\, some of them he made himself and many collected in his global travels\, that produce beautiful tones. He learned Classical Indian Raga Music from Kishor Gosh\, who studied under world-renowned Ravi Shankar. He has been in on a journey to create and share borderless music drawing improvisationally on various traditional music forms and contemporary styles to create musical conversations from spirit and of the moment. He also regularly teachers workshops and offers own unique form of music therapy. \nEnjoy Organic clothes and soul-shaking sound! \nContact : CRS 212-677-8621　or 914-703-8018 Senko or universalcreation1000@gmail.com \nhttp://www.usaato.com

SUMMARY:Miracles in Manhattan with Jon Mundy\, Ph.D.: The Vedanta & A Course in Miracles
DESCRIPTION:CRS presents Miracles in Manhattan\, lectures on the teachings of A Course in Miracles and related texts and topics\, with Jon Mundy\, Ph.D. and occasional guest lecturers. \nThe topic for December’s lecture is the Vedanta & A Course in Miracles. Guest David Brown will be joining Jon to discuss this rich topic. Advaita Vedanta is a classic Indian path to spiritual realization. The idea is that the soul (true Self) is at the highest metaphysical Reality (God). As with ACIM\, followers of Vedanta seek spiritual liberation through acquiring Knowledge of one’s identity as the Self (Atman). Bill Thetford\, Ph.D. Helen’s companion in the composition of the Course\, once said that A Course in Miracles is the Christian Vedanta. \n~ $25 per person with advanced purchase online\, by phone (212-677-8621) or at CRS until the day before the lecture~\n~ $30 per person at the door ~\nAs long as space is available\, “No one is ever turned away who cannot pay.” Contribute what you can. \nThe lectures are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month (but 1st Sunday in May). \nAlthough we would\, of course\, prefer to share with you in class\, Miracles in Manhattan classes are now also being offered via life-streaming for those who cannot attend the class in-person. The day of the class\, go to our YouTube Channel:\nhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwxH3nWSMFDGA1SiR9kAbeg\nand choose the live-streaming button \nDr. Jon Mundy met Dr. Helen Schucman\, the scribe for A Course in Miracles\, in 1973. Helen introduced Jon to the Course and served as his mentor and guide till she became ill in 1980. He is the author of Living A Course in Miracles. After Return to Love by Marianne Williamson\, it is currently the best-selling book based on the teaching of A Course in Miracles. www.miraclesmagazine.org \nDuring the 1980’s\, following a deep awakening during Encounter Group therapy\, David Brown spent nine months in India with Swami Chinmayanada\, the founder of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide. David traveled all over India with Swamiji and received his teachings of Vedanta first hand. Subsequent to that life-changing experience\, David has continued his studies of Vedanta with Vedanta scholars in the USA and he has led study groups in Advaita (non-dual) Vedanta for well over 20 years. Finding a connecting thread of Truth in all true spirituality\, David also spent several years in Toronto as a student of Lama Namse\, a Tibetan Buddhist Kargupya monk. Prior to Ken Wapnick’s passing\, David and his partner\, Lynne\, spent three years studying A Course in Miracles with Ken. \n“David is in his 80’s. He’s been at this work for quite a long while studying both Vedanta and ACIM. He’s quite a sincere gentleman.” – Jon Mundy

SUMMARY:CRS Winter Solstice Healing Circle: Meditation & Whirling with Live Music
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly Healing Circle & Whirling practice. We gather to let go of our small selves and remember our divinity within. This month we welcome back CRS Founder Yasuko Kasaki to lead our prayer. And we’ll be welcoming the Winter Solstice with live music by Tomchess of the American Sufi Project! It’s such a joy to whirl with live music so we’ll be devoting extra time to that. \nThe participation fee is $20 with advanced registration and $25 on the day of the class. \nThrough whirling\, we learn to trust ourselves to go off balance\, to be dizzy\, to surrender control as we give ourselves over to prayer and connect with a greater power\, the still center within\, around which we turn\, that we may share our divine strength and bear witness to the divinity in others. \nIf you are quiet and in a state of prayer when you Turn\, offering everything of yourself to God\, then when your body is spinning\, there is a completely still point in the center… The heavens respond; and all the invisible kingdoms join in the dance. But the world does not understand. They think we Turn in order to go into some sort of trance. It is true that sometimes we do go into that state you call ecstasy\, but that is only when we know and experience at the same time. We do not Turn for ourselves. We turn around in the way we do so that the Light of God may descend upon the earth. As you act as a conduit in the Turn\, the light comes through the right hand\, and the left hand brings it into this world… We turn for God and for the world\, and it is the most beautiful thing you can imagine. — Mevlevi Shaikh Suleyman Hyatt Dede \nSufi Dance Instructor Lále Sayoko was one of the founding members of Japan’s famous Samanyolu professional bellydance group\, and has since developed her own solo career touring with UK’s Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers on a 44 city tour of the UK\, to Turkey’s Baba Zula\, to New York’s Bella Gaia multimedia Earth from Space journey show. Appearing in Japanese and American magazines and newspapers\, Lale aspires for dance to be a powerful communicator though traditional technique and spiritual embodiment. She has lately been studying Sufi dance with Rana Gorgani and in April 2018 Gorgani awarded her the International Sufi Dance Certification Of Cid UNESCO\, granting her authority to teach Gorgani’s method of Sufi dance training.\nhttp://www.lalesayoko.com \nTomchess (oud\, ney\, morsing) is a New York City–based multi-instrumentalist\, improviser\, and composer who has played and recorded with some of the most esteemed players in the improvisational scene (Dewey Redman\, Butch Morris\, Pharoah Sanders\, Drew Gress\, Ronald Shannon Jackson) as well as Moroccan sintarist Hassan Hakmoun. He has performed around the world and at New York City venues like Lincoln Center\, the Turkish and Pakistani embassies\, the Metropolitan Museum of Art\, and the United Nations He has played on Grammy-nominated recordings and was awarded grants from the Turkish American Society and the Maryland Council for the Arts. In 2012 he was nominated for an Independent Music Award.\nhttps://tomchess.bandcamp.com/ \nYasuko Kasaki (meditation/prayer) is an internationally beloved spiritual writer\, counselor\, healer\, lecturer and translator from Tokyo\, Japan.
