SUMMARY:Sufi Dance Class with Lâle Sayoko
DESCRIPTION:Learn the ancient practice of meditative whirling known as Sufi dance or Sema (Sama in Iranian). You will learn the techniques of whirling\, but Sema is not about reproducing a certain form or aesthetic. Rather\, the technique serves as a vehicle for inner journeying. Sema means spiritual listening. Together we’ll create a sacred space in which we can safely listen to and share our true selves and experience oneness with the Divine. \nEach class consists of some explanation of the theory and technique\, exercises\, practice whirling\, and sharing and discussion of what you experienced and felt. \nWhirling commonly induces dizziness or nausea. Over time\, through whirling\, we learn to trust ourselves to go off balance\, to be dizzy\, to surrender control. We empty our minds of all thoughts of the individual self as we give ourselves over to prayer and connect with a greater power\, the still center within\, around which we turn. Into this emptiness floods a divine fullness\, which sometimes gives rise to a state known as “mystical intoxication\,” a reflection of knowing and experiencing that you and I and the Divine are One. \nPlease wear comfortable clothing (white\, gray or black color is preferable\, avoiding prints and shiny material which might distract the eye while whirling) and wear socks or soft soled shoes. If you have a whirling skirt and/or a frame drum\, please feel free to bring it. Avoid eating a large meal for two hours prior to class. \n$20 with advance registration\, $25 at the door \nLearn more about Sufi dance:\nhttp://www.ranagorgani.com/10-things-about-sufi-dance/ \nAbout Sufi Dance Instructor Lâle Sayoko \nSayoko was one of the founding members of Japan’s famous Samanyolu professional bellydance group\, and has since developed her own solo career touring with UK’s Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers on a 44 city tour of the UK\, to Turkey’s Baba Zula\, and with New York’s Bella Gaia multimedia Earth from Space journey show. Lale aspires for dance to be a powerful communicator though traditional technique and spiritual embodiment. She has lately been studying Sufi dance with Rana Gorgani\, and in April 2018 Gorgani awarded her the International Sufi Dance Certification Of Cid UNESCO\, granting her authority to teach Gorgani’s method of Sufi dance training. With CRS co-founders Yasuko Kasaki and Christopher Pelham\, she leads the CRS Healing Circles + Whirling Prayer that take place every third Thursday of the month at CRS. \nhttp://www.lalesayoko.com

SUMMARY:USAATO Clothing Exhibition & Sale
DESCRIPTION:CRS welcomes you to the seventh exhibition of USAATO clothing at CRS on March 10\, 2019! Designer Mr. Usaburo will give a talk from 12:30 – 1:30 pm and then the exhibition will be on view for shopping until 5 pm. Mr. Usaboro will personally help to select and coordinate the garments that would suit you best! \nUSAATO shares beautiful traditional clothes made in Chiang Mai\, Thailand. The clothing is designed by Japanese haute couture designer Usaburo Sato with fabrics made by the caring hands of the Thai people. The fabrics are mostly made of hand-spun cotton\, silk and hemp\, picked in mountains and villages\, naturally dyed from plants and fruits\, then made into clothes with traditional weaving machines by women in local villages of north and northeast Thailand and Laos. The attention\, time and passion put into the creation of these clothes give it a sense of energy that can be felt on your body and in your soul. Soft and warm\, relaxing wears suitable for both outside and home. \nAll fabrics are once gathered at “USAATO SIAM” in Chiang Mai and then delivered for the sewing process. USAATO clothes are sewn by individuals and groups outbound Chiang Mai\, not by the company’s factory. (One part of our products is from machine-weaving.) \nThe products are mostly women’s clothes but men’s clothes\, children’s clothes\, samue (monk’s working clothes)\, and rakui (pajamas) are also available. Approximate prices for tops are from $70 to $180 while bottoms are from $90 to $180. \nUSAATO clothes are selling all over the world at pop-up exhibitions organized by USAATO partners called coordinators. USSATO NEW YORK will hold exhibitions every few months at CRS. \nWearing hemp clothing promotes personal health in a variety of ways. Hemp/ cotton blends are both more absorbent humid and more mildew resistant than 100% cotton. Fabric made using 50% or higher of hemp will block more UV rays than non-hemp fabrics. And have you ever noticed that hemp-made garments don’t create static? That is because hemp has the same net static charge as human skin\, resonating perfectly with our electromagnetic fields. \nContact : CRS 212-677-8621　or 914-703-8018 Senko or universalcreation1000@gmail.com \nhttp://www.usaato.com

You can see the full festival lineup and purchase an early bird pass now! \nAt CRS:\nVideo Diary workshop (preceded by a screening of “Bari Upside Up” 10′)\nTuesday\, March 19 from 3:10 – 4:00 pm\nPresented by Brigitte Gauthier\nRSVP here:  rsvp.srff@gmail.com \n“In the Video Diary Workshop I will guide filmmakers into the exploration of the visual clues hidden in locations which can be used to trigger your creative imagination for future projects. Narration nowadays is a visual experience. In order to promote our movies in Cannes or other venues\, a script\, or a synopsis is no longer sufficient. Filmmakers are asked to provide Mood Boards\, Visual Pitches and Visual References. Teasers are often required. We go Visual. The idea of the workshop is to give you some advice on how to gather visual informations and reorganize them into a narrative thread to serve your development process.” \nBrigitte Gauthier is Head of the SLAM Research Center\, Head of SCRIPT and Trilingual Transmedia Master\, Professor at EVE University (Université d’Evry-Paris Saclay\, France) \n————— \nSR Socially Relevant(TM) Film Festival New York aims at be the catalyst in helping production move towards  broader Socially Relevant content in films through: \n\nShowcasing filmmakers and helping them develop new films that address socially relevant topics in an entertaining manner designed to reach a wider audience.\nFostering industry professionals and taste makers to effect change by showing that SR films can be entertaining\, funny\, enlightening\, uplifting\, appealing and when made well even commercially viable.\nIdentifying socially relevant content and reaching new audiences by using online social media and other marketing strategies.\nAssisting sales and distribution companies in selecting socially relevant content and distributing it.\nEstablishing international partnerships (with film festivals\, film commissions\, industry partners) in order to support a currently underserved style of motion pictures in the marketplace.

SUMMARY:CRS Healing Circle: Meditation + Whirling Prayer with Live Music
DESCRIPTION:Join us Thursday\, March 21\, 2019 at 7:15 pm for our monthly Healing Circle + Whirling (Sufi Dance) + Prayer led by CRS co-founders Yasuko Kasaki and Christopher Pelham and Sufi Dance Artist Lale Sayoko. We gather to let go of our small selves and remember our divinity within. We are honored to have the flutist Cheryl Pyle\, one of the premiere jazz flutists in the world\, to play with us this month! \nBring in any issue — relationship trauma\, #metoo\, disease\, money issue\, depression — and surrender it to Spirit. Remember who you are. Receive new guidance. Experience love’s presence in a safe and supportive community. Heal yourself and others. \nThe participation fee is $20 with advanced registration and $25 on the day of the class. \nThrough whirling\, we learn to trust ourselves to go off balance\, to be dizzy\, to surrender control as we give ourselves over to prayer and connect with a greater power\, the still center within\, around which we turn\, that we may share our divine strength and bear witness to the divinity in others. \nIf you are quiet and in a state of prayer when you Turn\, offering everything of yourself to God\, then when your body is spinning\, there is a completely still point in the center… The heavens respond; and all the invisible kingdoms join in the dance. But the world does not understand. They think we Turn in order to go into some sort of trance. It is true that sometimes we do go into that state you call ecstasy\, but that is only when we know and experience at the same time. We do not Turn for ourselves. We turn around in the way we do so that the Light of God may descend upon the earth. As you act as a conduit in the Turn\, the light comes through the right hand\, and the left hand brings it into this world… We turn for God and for the world\, and it is the most beautiful thing you can imagine. — Mevlevi Shaikh Suleyman Hyatt Dede \nSufi Dance Instructor Lále Sayoko was one of the founding members of Japan’s famous Samanyolu professional bellydance group\, and has since developed her own solo career touring with UK’s Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers on a 44 city tour of the UK\, to Turkey’s Baba Zula\, to New York’s Bella Gaia multimedia Earth from Space journey show. Appearing in Japanese and American magazines and newspapers\, Lale aspires for dance to be a powerful communicator though traditional technique and spiritual embodiment. She has lately been studying Sufi dance with Rana Gorgani and in April 2018 Gorgani awarded her the International Sufi Dance Certification Of Cid UNESCO\, granting her authority to teach Gorgani’s method of Sufi dance training.\nhttp://www.lalesayoko.com \nYasuko Kasaki (meditation/prayer) is an internationally beloved spiritual writer\, counselor\, healer\, lecturer and translator from Tokyo\, Japan. The founder of CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing)\, the first and only spiritual center devoted to the teaching and practice of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) in New York City\, she is widely recognized as the person most responsible for the spread of ACIM throughout Japan. SUMMARY:Neda Boin in Concert: The Light Has Come (music inspired by A Course in Miracles)
DESCRIPTION:CRS presents an evening with the award-winning singer songwriter Neda Boin of the Netherlands\, whose first album\, “The Light Has Come\,” just won Best Album of the Year at the Rotterdam Music Awards. Amazingly\, Neda\, a student of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) for 8+ years\, channeled all the songs on the album in just two weeks\, all inspired from ACIM Workbook lessons\, making it the first album inspired by ACIM to win album of the year. Profoundly spiritual in nature\, the songs are deeply satisfying as songs\, with beautiful and irresistible music colored with soul\, jazz and world music inflections\, brought to soaring life by Neda’s angelic voice. \n“Neda’s music is a way to merge with the Spirit and feel the absolute glory of Divine Love. Her amazing voice enhances the lyrics from Heaven\, and my soul is lifted every time I listen.” — David Hoffmeister\, author of Unwind Your Mind Back to God \nThis concert will take place Friday\, March 29\, 2019 at 7:30 pm at CRS and kicks off the Living in the Light Course in Miracles Weekend\, which will continue throughout the day on March 30 with talks\, workshops\, and healing shared by Neda Boin\, Corinne Zupko (author of From Anxiety to Love)\, CRS Founder Yasuko Kasaki (author of 16 books in Japanese about ACIM)\, and the CRS healers. This will be the first ACIM weekend in NYC since the CMC ACIM Conference in 2015. \n\n Individual tickets for the concert as well as for the weekend are available online\, by phone (212-677-8621)\, and at CRS. Concert tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door ($20 at the door for students/seniors with valid ID). \nBuy Concert Tickets!\nSaturday’s program tickets are $120 in advance and $140 at the door ($100 at the door for students/seniors with valid ID). Combined tickets are $140. \nBuy Combined Two-Day Concert/Workshop Tickets!\n \nIn this concert\, Neda will share many songs with you as well as many helpful parables about her own journey from darkness to light. Before the album was released\, Neda often joked with her friends that she would rename the album to “The Darkness has Come” since there was so much healing taking place before the album fully got recorded. Go to www.nedaboin.com to listen to the album. You’re invited to sing along\, or you can just allow the beautiful words and melodies to wash over you. \n“Those who seek the light are merely covering their eyes\, the light is in them now. Enlightenment is but a recognition\, not a change at all” (W-188.1.2). \nCheck out her mini documentary here to see more about this journey. \n\n\n\nABOUT NEDA BOIN \nNeda\, literally meaning ‘Inner Voice’ or ‘Voice for God\,’ discovered her musical talent at a young age. When she was five years old\, she began\, just like her mother who is a professional violin player\, with playing the violin. However\, singing was always her first love. Around the age of thirteen she learned to play the piano and developed a way to express herself by writing her own songs. In 2006 she won a national music contest with one of the first songs that she wrote. \nIn the summer of 2007 she toured through Kenya for orphanages\, schools\, slums and different tribes with a performance about HIV and AIDS. In the summer of 2008 she went to India to investigate child prostitution and give workshops and performances about women’s rights. It was then that she even more so experienced the power and universal language of music. \n“I saw that making music wasn’t a goal for me anymore\, it became a way to connect with people and touch their hearts\,” she says. A few years later she hitchhiked from The Netherlands all the way down to South Africa. \n“The songs I was writing were mostly inspired by the injustice I saw during my travels. They were songs about wanting to change the world.” But when in 2010\, at age 20\, A Course in Miracles came into her life\, she started training her own mind so she could be the example of love and peace she so badly wanted to see outside herself. \nIn 2013 Neda won both the audience and the jury prizes at the Music Matters Awards\, which made her the music ambassador of Rotterdam for one whole year. Shortly after\, she graduated from the music conservatory of Rotterdam with a Bachelor of Music. She successfully released her first EP\, “When Lambs Become Lions\,” in October 2014. She also started giving songwriting workshops in juvenile prison\, which she is currently still doing. \nIn 2015 Neda convinced all four coaches of “The Voice” of Holland to turn their chairs around for her\, and she made it all the way to the last eight contestants. \nLast year she woke up one morning feeling as if she was being pulled towards the piano where the Course Workbook lesson 124 was lying open: “Let me remember I am one with God.” Words and melodies came pouring through her\, and before she knew it\, she had written a complete song with lyrics from that Workbook lesson. The same thing happened everyday for two weeks until she had enough “Course songs” to fill a whole album\, which turned into her debut album\, “The Light Has Come.” \nYou can learn more about Neda Boin on her web site at nedaboin.com.

And in each moment that the ego temps us\, we make a choice for Spirit again. This moment to moment practice can be facilitated by offering miracles to our brothers. By doing so\, we ultimately recognize our oneness and all that is not true\, including fear and anxiety\, simply dissolves. What is left is pure joy! In this workshop\, participants will learn and experience practical strategies for dissolving fear and living in the light. \nABOUT SPIRITUAL HEALING WITH YASUKO AND CRS HEALERS \nOur healing is based on the Course. ACIM says that salvation occurs when you are with your brother. When you know the truth about your brother\, you will know the truth of who you truly are\, because you will recognize that you and your brother are actually one. Recognizing this truth is the only way to experience peace. Bring any issue you are facing right now — physically\, emotionally\, mentally\, and/or spiritually. With eyes closed (you will be seated and a healer will stand nearby; no touching is involved)\, a CRS healer will observe you with his inner sight\, free of any judgments\, as your truly are\, a perfect shining spirit. Together\, will ask the Holy Spirit (or inner guide if you prefer) to bring us directly to whatever seed thought is causing your current issues and ask for guidance about how your spirit really wants to make use of your present situation for its growth and sharing of love. After about 5 – 10 minutes of meditation together\, we share the inspirational guidance that we receive. \nABOUT VOICE LIBERATION WITH NEDA \nIn voice liberation the voice is used as an instrument to deeply connect with others and with Spirit. The joy of “being sung through” is a truly liberating experience! Throughout this workshop\, our focus will be to “step back and let Him lead the way.” Discovering your inner voice comes from a place of deep surrender and trust. Even if you have no musical background or believe you have no talent\, you will be able to participate in experiential singing and songwriting! Spirit will facilitate emotional healing by guiding you to get in touch with and express your Inner Voice. You will be supported in using your voice as a gateway to allow what is ready to come up to the surface to be released. \n\n\n\nABOUT THE PRESENTERS \nYasuko Kasaki is an internationally beloved spiritual writer\, counselor\, healer\, lecturer and translator from Tokyo. She is widely recognized as the person most responsible for the spread of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) throughout Japan. In 2004 she founded CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing)\, the first and only spiritual center devoted to the teaching and practice of ACIM in New York City. She has taught and worked with thousands of people from around the world to help resolve their mental and physical issues and witness miracles. She presents at the CMC’s annual ACIM Conferences in the U.S.\, and several times a year she gives large seminars throughout Japan. \nYasuko has authored 16 books in Japanese about the Course\, as well as numerous novels\, short stories\, essays and collections of photographs. Yasuko’s spiritual writing and lectures are celebrated for their clearly stated explanations of complex concepts illustrated by captivating personal stories of struggle and triumph\, drawn from her long career as a writer\, motorcyclist\, and spiritual counselor. Meditation and communication with Holy Spirit form the foundation of her practice. yasukokasaki.com \n“Yasuko Kasaki’s seminar is like the best rock concerts. I am still hearing Jimi Hendrix’s guitar echoing in the back of my ear!” — Toru Nishida\, Editor-in-Chief of Yuhobika magazine \n\n\n\n  \nCorinne Zupko\, EdS\, MA\, LPC\, is the author of the bestselling and award-winning book\, From Anxiety to Love: A Radical New Approach for Letting Go of Fear and Finding Lasting Peace (New World Library\, 2018).  Corinne was diagnosed with her first anxiety disorder at a very young age and struggled with debilitating anxiety for nearly three decades. Determined not to let the anxiety run her life\, she dove into living the principles of the psychological and spiritual text A Course in Miracles. With the Course and mindfulness meditation as tools on her journey\, she has found inner peace to be unstoppable and now teaches others to discover it in themselves. Corinne is a keynote speaker\, Adjunct Professor of Counselor Education\, counselor\, Board Certified Coach and teaches weekly mindfulness meditation classes at a major U.S. financial institution. fromanxietytolove.com \n“Corinne is a masterful teacher!” — Alan Cohen\, author of A Course in Miracles Made Easy \n“Corinne has the most amazing way of communicating the wisdom of ACIM through hands on and practical approaches that work.” — Mignon L \n“I read Corinne’s book a few months ago and then I read it 3 more times. Everyone who worries\, frets\, feels fear at the smallest and largest things will find hope\, practices and inspiration in Corinne’s work.” — Deb McDe \n\n\n\n  \nNeda Boin is a singer songwriter from Rotterdam in The Netherlands. In 2013 Neda won both the audience and the jury prizes at the Music Matters Awards\, which made her the music ambassador of Rotterdam for one whole year. Neda has lately been using her Course experiences and musical gifts to teach Voice Liberation workshops at David Hoffmeister’s Living Miracles Monastery and elsewhere. nedaboin.com \n\n\n\nABOUT CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing)\n\nCRS is a healing and art center founded in 2004 by the Japanese spiritual writer/counselor/lecturer Yasuko Kasaki and her students. It is the first and only center in New York City devoted to the study and practice of A Course in Miracles. Everyone has something precious to give. Our mission is to help you to discover\, develop\, and use your gift\, and to appreciate the joy of sharing it. ACIM says that salvation occurs when you are with your brother. When you know the truth about your brother\, you will know the truth of who you truly are\, because you will recognize that you and your brother are actually one. We offer support to those who bear witness to the truth\, which is something that everyone is capable of doing and sharing.

SUMMARY:Sufi Dance Class with Läle Sayoko
\nPlease wear comfortable clothing like yoga pants or leggings and T shirts ( no tube top or short pants) and solid colors are recommended\, avoiding prints and shiny material which might distract the eye while whirling\, and wear socks or soft soled shoes. If you have a whirling skirt\, please feel free to bring it. \nAvoid eating a large meal for two hours prior to class. \nClasses are $25 ($20 with advanced registration). \nAbout Sufi Dance Instructor Läle Sayoko \nSufi Dance Instructor Läle Sayoko lives to embody and transmit the voice of spirit through music and dance. As CRS resident Sufi Dance instructor\, choreographer\, performing artist\, and musical curator\, she loves to welcome people into this holy practice to explore and share their own divinity. After a long professional dance career\, she retired to support her young daughter through a life-threatening medical crisis. Several years later she discovered that she could whirl as a form of prayer to support her daughter and began studying Sufi Dance with Paris-based Sufi Artist Rana Gorgani. In April 2018 Gorgani awarded her the International Sufi Dance Certification Of Cid UNESCO\, granting her authority to teach Gorgani’s method of Sufi Dance training. She currently teaches Sufi Dance classes at CRS every first Thursday of the month from 7 – 8:30 pm and leads the CRS Healing Circles + Whirling Prayer that take place every third Thursday of the month from 7:15 – 9 pm.\nhttps://www.facebook.com/lale.sayoko \n

SUMMARY:A Talk by ACIM/Non-Duality/AA Lecturer & Author Paul Hedderman
DESCRIPTION:CRS invites you to a talk by A Course in Miracles teacher and 12-Step guru Paul Hedderman. Paul has been involved with the recovery community since 1988 and has been leading workshops and holding talks for 18 years. He is the author of The Escape To Everywhere. A Zen slap to your mind\, Paul’s unique language and solid presence bespeak the depth of his understanding of the human condition—in which the original addiction is the mind’s addiction to being a self. His message\, that inspires many\, is simple and clear: \nYOU ARE ALREADY THAT WHICH YOU SEEK. \nYou are wholeness itself. The ‘self’ is a ‘parasite’ that claims to be you and once the ‘foreign installment’ is believed\, comes the seeking to get rid of it. \nhttp://www.zenbitchslap.com \nsuggested donation $20 cash at the door (no one turned away)..

SUMMARY:Exhibition: Matter — Paintings & Photographs by Takeshi Inoue
DESCRIPTION:CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) presents “Matter\,” an exhibition of 12 painted 3D collages and black and white photographs by Takeshi Inoue. The works reflect the essence of matter as being something constantly subject to transformation. Surfaces crack\, decay\, rust\, burn\, soften\, harden\, accumulate\, become. Space arises allowing for something new to enter. The marks created by the passage of time create patterns of surprising beauty. These images compel us to face the ephemerality of matter while their beauty speaks to our memory of what is timeless\, inviting us to reflect on who and what we are. \nThe exhibition will open on April 16\, 2019 and will remain on view through May 28\, 2019. \nTakeshi Inoue was born in Saitama\, Japan. He has a bachelors degree in history from Sophia University\, Tokyo\, Japan. He later studied Fine Art at The Glasgow School of Art in Scotland\, U.K. He currently works and lives in NY. \nARTIST STATEMENT \nThe work that I make is basically all process based\, and therefore I am never aware at the starting point what exactly I am creating. I constantly have ideas surfacing in my mind\, which I put forth and as a result may or may not work out. Either way\, the work itself is very much based on ideas\, but it’s not necessarily about putting a certain idea forward. There is a great deal of chance involved\, and I will know when something has come to fruit. I have a lot of influences from music\, film\, and books that I would be engaged into at the moment that I am making the work. Also\, the environment such as where I live\, the people that I meet\, the kind of conversation that I have with them\, what I feel on a day to day basis\, my state of mind\, these thing all feed into the work. In that sense the work is very personal\, and is about myself.

You don’t need to be experienced. Together\, we will learn to listen to one another\, play together\, and express ourselves and find Oneness of intention. \nPlease do not eat for two hours before the start to reduce your chance of feeling sick during the whirling\, and wear only solid colors as patterns can distract the eyes of those who are whirling. \nThe participation fee is $20 with advanced registration and $25 at the door. Direct registration link:\nhttps://www.crsny.org \nThrough whirling\, we learn to trust ourselves to go off balance\, to be dizzy\, to surrender control as we give ourselves over to prayer and connect with a greater power\, the still center within\, around which we turn\, that we may share our divine strength and bear witness to the divinity in others. SUMMARY:Whirling (Sufi Dance) Practice with Live Music
DESCRIPTION:Sufis\, lovers\, mystics\, CRS and Sufi Artist Lale Sayoko invite you to join us for an hour of meditative whirling known as Sufi dance or Sema (Sama in Iranian). This is not a class (i.e. there is no instruction) but an open space where we can come together to practice and is open to people of all backgrounds who whirl and follow the path of oneness. This month Tomchess of the American Sufi Project will honor us by playing live music for us. \nYou should already know the basics of how to whirl. If you have not already learned whirling from a Sufi teacher — for example\, from our teachers Rana Gorgani\, Lale Sayoko\, or Paola Garcia\, or at one of our whirling events\, or from a Sufi lodge or community — please first attend our Sufi Dance Class with Lale Sayoko\, which takes places the first Thursday of each month from 7:30 – 9 pm at CRS\, to learn the basics. Sayoko is also available for private instruction weekdays and weekends by appointment. \nThis Whirling Practice with Live Music will usually take place on the fourth Friday of each month from 7 – 8 pm\, and live music will be provided each time by one of our musician friends. In February and March\, the fourth Friday falls the day after the third Thursday\, when our Healing Circles are held\, so in those and other such months we will endeavor to have live music and whirling in our Healing Circles (meaning there will be no fourth Friday events in those months). \nPlease remember that whirling commonly induces dizziness or nausea. Avoid eating a large meal for two hours prior to class. Over time\, through whirling\, we learn to trust ourselves to go off balance\, to be dizzy\, to surrender control\, allowing us to whirl for longer periods. You do not have to whirl for the entire hour\, but you are encouraged to explore whether your perceived limits are immutable or only self-imposed. \nWe empty our minds of all thoughts of the individual self as we give ourselves over to prayer and connect with a greater power\, the still center within\, around which we turn. Into this emptiness floods a divine fullness\, which sometimes gives rise to a state known as “mystical intoxication\,” a reflection of knowing and experiencing that you and I and the Divine are One. Together we can take courage and inspiration from one another and strengthen our practice. \nPlease wear comfortable clothing (white\, gray or black color is preferable\, avoiding prints and shiny material which might distract the eye while whirling) and wear socks or soft soled shoes. If you have a whirling skirt\, please feel free to bring it. \n$20 with advance registration\, $25 at the door \nLearn more about Sufi dance:\nhttp://www.ranagorgani.com/10-things-about-sufi-dance/ \nAbout Sufi Dance Artist Lâle Sayoko \nSayoko was one of the founding members of Japan’s famous Samanyolu professional bellydance group\, and has since developed her own solo career touring with UK’s Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers on a 44 city tour of the UK\, to Turkey’s Baba Zula\, and with New York’s Bella Gaia multimedia Earth from Space journey show. SUMMARY:Chakra Balancing Meditation
DESCRIPTION:As a group\, we tone the sacred sounds of each chakra 7 times\, creating an energetic flow that loosens and removes blockages and releases negative energy stored within. The sound of the toning creates a vibrational reaction within the body\, which causes stillness and relaxation. We begin with a breathing exercise\, followed by toning\, and ending with an open circle to share the experience and/or ask questions. This is a meditation\, and a self-healing practice. Chakra balancing meditation is excellent for the beginner and the experienced.  \n We all have seven main chakras that sit along the center of the spinal column. The body is a vehicle of consciousness\, and the chakras are where consciousness and matter (the physical body) meet. Together the seven chakras form a profound formula for wholeness that integrates mind\, body and spirit. Making sure they are balanced is essential to our daily and long term lives. They house the consciousness around our survival and safety\, emotions\, sexulaity\, creativity\, self-esteem\, imagination\, our knowingness\, our ability to love and be loved. Emotions such as fear\, stress\, shame\, guilt\, grief\, lies and the ego all block the chakras creating an imbalanced system. Having an imbalanced chakra system can result in physical symptoms in their corresponding body parts and organs.  \nRSVP by email \n\nJoshua Dorfman is a metaphysical teacher and healer who uses his clairvoyant and empathic abilities to support others looking for more balance and deep spiritual healing. Born extrasensory\, he always had a gift enabling him to know things beyond the physical\, like feeling the energy of a person\, or situation\, knowing people’s true intentions and when something bad was going to happen. As he grew\, he came across various mentors who passed onto him\, great spiritual wisdom. For many years\, Joshua has been self taught\, guided by an “inner voice” toward books and information around the subject of energy healing\, psychic ability and the power of sound\, to name a few. READ MORE >>

SUMMARY:ACIM Book Event: This Moment Is Your Miracle with Jenny & Greg Donner
DESCRIPTION:Modern-day mystics and marriage partners\, Jenny and Greg Donner have been touring the world for many years sharing their deep inspiration and love of truth. In collaboration with David Hoffmeister\, they share a mystical and practical approach to healing. As intuitive open channels\, they bring an awareness that is miraculous and uplifting. You are invited to join in a felt experience of divine presence and peace. This experiential process invites an intimacy together\, including a deep inquiry to release blocks to love’s awareness. \nLet’s open our hearts to an experience of love and innocence that’s always here. This moment is your miracle! \nThere is a suggested donation of $20 at the door\, and those donating $20 or more will receive a copy of the book!
