Everyone has something precious to give. CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) exists to help people discover, develop, and share that gift — through healing, contemplative practice, and the arts.
Our story
CRS was founded in 2004 in New York City by Yasuko Kasaki and Christopher Pelham, who brought together a community of healers, seekers, and artists — many arriving from Japan and other countries, drawn by a longing for depth and connection. For twenty years, CRS operated as a community center in Manhattan, offering teachings, concerts, exhibitions, healing work, and cultural programming. In 2024, we closed our physical space and now operate primarily online and through partnerships with organizations in New York City, Japan, and around the world.
What guides us
Our work is guided by A Course in Miracles (ACIM), a non-dualistic, non-religious spiritual text that understands love as our only true nature. We don’t approach ACIM as doctrine but as a living practice — one that shapes how we listen, how we create, how we heal, and how we share. We believe that when we truly remember who we are and share that openly with one another, healing follows naturally.

Yasuko Kasaki
President & Founder
Yasuko Kasaki is a spiritual writer, counselor, healer, and teacher from Tokyo, Japan. The author of eighteen books about A Course in Miracles, she is widely recognized for bringing ACIM to Japan. She founded CRS in 2004 and offers weekly classes, private spiritual counseling, and retreats — in New York, in Japan, and online.
Christopher Pelham
Director & Co-Founder
Christopher Pelham co-founded CRS with Yasuko in 2004. Drawing on A Course in Miracles, improvisational theater, and contemporary shamanism, he works as a spiritual healer, counselor, and teacher. He oversees CRS’s programming, events, and operations.
