For over twenty years, CRS presented concerts in our Manhattan space — music at the intersection of jazz, improvisation, world traditions, and contemporary composition. We continue to present concerts at partner venues in New York City and beyond.

Our series

Crossing Boundaries brings together artists from different musical traditions and disciplines for one-night collaborations — encounters that could not happen anywhere else. Paradise Laboratory presents small-ensemble jazz and improvised music in an intimate setting, with an emphasis on artists whose work defies easy category. Both series are conceived and produced by Christopher Pelham and musician and curator gamin.
