Healers Joshua Dorfman and Julia Sheykman will hold a sacred space to provide you a deep healing meditation experience through the power of sound and Reiki. Julia will facilitate Reiki energy to the group, while Joshua leads everyone through a breathing exercise to activate the Chi Life Force. Afterwards, everyone will lie down to receive. Joshua will perform the sound bath using singing bowls, tuning forks and other sound-healing instruments, while Julia comes around and offers one on one Reiki to each individual. Class will end with a ten minute yoga segment to ground and birng everyone back into their bodies.

Sound baths can calm an over stimulated nervous system, increase extrasensory perception, and bring one to an elevated state of consciousness. Sound baths are said to work on the physical body and the subtle body to help heal depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and insomnia, and to deepen meditation and spark creativity.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. An energy healing modality, Reiki is conducted by the transference of “Life-Force Energy” from practitioner to receiver through both hands on (touch) and hands off approach.

Joshua and Julia are two amazing individuals who are devoted to service and the sharing of love while sustaining a community-like atmosphere.
