A Course in Miracles Healing Circle
June 1, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm EDT$20
We invite you to join us on the evening of Wed, June 1, 2016 form 8 – 9:30 pm to connect with and celebrate Spirit! We’d like to start holding these healing circles monthly so that our community members have an opportunity to come together to share their practice in a more social form.
Under the gentle direction of CRS founders Christopher Pelham and Yasuko Kasaki, you can practice some basic techniques of meditation and creative visualization/journeying. You will experience receiving useful guidance from your Holy Spirit / inner guide / spirit animal. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know yourself better, explore your spiritual practice more deeply, and meet other likeminded people.
The evening will go like this:
- short inspirational reading/prayer
- explanation of the evening’s spirit journey visualization and its purpose
- spirit journey
- sharing around the circle
- enjoy short social time with glass of red wine (feel free to bring some healthy snack to share!)
You might want to bring pen and paper for taking notes. No previous experience is required and the circles are open. While we hope you will fill inspired to regularly share your shining spirit with this spiritual community, you are welcome to attend without any intention of returning.
Our purpose, guided by our devoted study and practice of A Course in Miracles, is to remind one another that we are one and the same, always already perfect expressions of love. Therefore, we will be training ourselves to look for and find such reminders in all of our visions and experiences. While the forms of our activities may draw on or be adapted from various shamanic and healing traditions, we do not seek to hold up any particular forms as essential or superior in and of themselves. Any form or experience could be used to remember who we truly are and to join with others. We will be using these particular forms simply because we enjoy them!
Each circle will each be structured around a particular theme or specific journey. July and August circles, for example, will provide opportunities to receive guidance on behalf of a partner’s spirit and about how to share your love and strength with someone else in your life.
Suggested donation $20. Space is limited.
Our mission is to help you to discover, develop, and use your gift, and to appreciate the joy of sharing it. We opened CRS with the help of a community of healers, seekers, and artists, many of whom had come from other countries looking for inspiration, Together, we offer a prayer to help one another.
CRS is a healing center. Our healing is based on A Course in Miracles (ACIM). ACIM says that salvation occurs when you are with your brother. When you know the truth about your brother, you will know the truth of who you truly are, because you will recognize that you and your brother are actually one, always already perfect expressions of love. Recognizing this truth is the only way to experience peace.
CRS is also an event space and art center. We offer support to those who bear witness to the truth, which is something that everyone is capable of doing and sharing. CRS is a safe space where you can know yourself, be yourself, and express yourself honestly without being judged. We wish you to extend and share your creative spirit more and more and to experience more and more joy.
