GnosticNYC Lecture Series: The Gospel of Thomas 10/20

This influential text has been the subject of much debate and scholarship, and we’re going to add to that! Was this text composed by Gnostics, or only appropriated by them?  Does it point to ancient Jewish mystic practice? Did the Gnostics practice magical ascent rituals? All these questions and more will be answered, or at least debated, at this GnosticNYC lecture.
