光明靈氣道 Komyo ReikiDo (The Way of Komyo Reiki)
The name “Komyo Reiki (Komyo Reiki kai)” has been changed to “Komyo ReikiDo.”

Komyo means Light/Enlightened

靈氣-霊気-レイキ-REIKI

Reiki is a Japanese term.
【靈 】Rei means something miraculous, ethereal, transcendental and sacred.
【氣 】Ki means the atmosphere or something subtle or the energy of the universe.

The Japanese words 靈 氣 Reiki can be defined as a miraculous/mysterious, ethereal, transcendental and sacred energy of the universe, which sustains all life. Reiki is the name, used by Usui Sensei, for energy of the universe.

“DO” in Japanese literally means a path or a way, and its connotation is spiritual practices or training as in: Bodo (martial arts); Aikido; Judo; Karatedo; Kendo; Sado 9the way of tea); Kado 9the way of flower); Shodo 9the way of calligraphy); Bushido (the way of samurai warrior), etc.

Komyo ReikiDo is the Way of Komyo Reiki. The name change reflects what Komyo Reiki is-a spiritual path. The focus is more on a spiritual aspect of Reiki Ryoho.

There are four levels in Komyo ReikiDo System
Shoden (First Degree)
Chuden (Second Degree/Intermediate Teaching)
Okuden (Third level)-Inner Teaching
Shinpiden (Teacher/Shihan)
