QIGONG led by Carol Z, CMQ, RYT, MPA, Certified Qigong & Therapeutic Yoga Instructor
Qigong (Chi Kung) is a practice of meditative & gentle, yet powerful, flowing vitality & longevity movements for all ages. This practice balances the chakras & organ meridian systems, while improving flexibility, strength, coordination & inner harmony. It increases pranic flow, restoring wholeness to mind, body & spirit.
These exercises prevent or reduce normal (aging) tissue buildup in knees, hips, wrists, shoulders & the entire spine and have proven to be of benefit for stress release, fatigue, stiffness, cardio & bone health. The practice strengthens deeper yin fascia of the joints, ligaments, tendons & bones, including hips, pelvis & spine, while stretching & toning the yang nature of muscles. A nurturing practice for anyone, including those recovering from injury, surgery or illness. All exercises can be done standing or seated for your comfort. No qigong experience necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing.
DATES & TIME: Thursdays 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 6 – 7 pm
