USAATO welcomes you to their first fashion exhibition and sale in New York City! USAATO designs and manufactures women’s clothes and also men’s clothes, children’s clothes, samue (monk’s working clothes), rakui (pajamas). Made in Chiang Mai, Thailand and distributed from Kyoto, Japan, USAATO’s clothing uses fabrics that are mostly handspun and hand woven from cotton, hemp and silk with natural dyeing by women in local areas of northeastern and north of Thailand and some parts of Laos.
All fabrics are once gathered at “USAATO SIAM” in Chiang Mai and then delivered for sewing process. USAATO clothes are sewn by individuals and groups outbound Chiang Mai, not by the company’s factory.
(One part of our products is from machine-weaving.)
The clothes made in Chiang Mai are mostly imported to “USAATO JAPAN” for selling all over Japan. USAATO clothes are selling all over Japan by our partners called coordinators in the forms of exhibitions. Normally each exhibition is held during weekend for 3-4 days. Places and frequencies of each exhibition depend on each area coordinator.
USAATO JAPAN located in Kyoto is the start point to deliver USAATO clothes for exhibitions all over Japan. The shop “USAATO Kyoto Shop” is only in Kyoto in Japan.
Approximate prices for tops are from $80 to $200 while bottoms are from $100 to $200.
