Coming off of the high energy of summer can be challenging. It’s a time to prioritize, regroup and re-tune. What’s in store for fall is: a slower pace, darkness chasing the light and a cooler spectrum of energetic frequencies.
Autumn is a season of great beauty and also of decline. The days grow shorter and the summer’s abundance fades. Seeds take flight upon the winds and scatter to later awaken as new growth next spring. It is a paradoxical time for seeding, covering over and allowing decay.
We will explore gentle movement, mindful breath, guided visualizations and energetic attunements to honor the beginning of fall on the Harvest Moon. With practical exercises that will address physical, emotional, spiritual and energetic realms, we aim to align: heart – mind – body – being. We invite you to let go of distractions, find focus and set clear intentions with the power of autumn.
Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the birth of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) as we screen the NYC premiere of the documentary film "A Course in Miracles - Enlightenment or Bust!" The film exposes the dysfunctional pattern of fearful thinking and how following inspiration is the antidote to overcoming the blocks to the awareness of Love’s presence. The movie is an invitation to the world to discover peace and happiness by the means of following intuitive guidance as taught in ACIM.
Following the movie screening there will be a Q & A session with the film's producer Craig Villarrubia. Gather with mighty companions as we explore the movie's message and the enlightened teachings of ACIM.

CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) announces “Home and Home: New York in My Life,” an exhibition of photographs by Satomi Shirai. These seven works reveal, in boldly playful as well as subtle ways, a newly arrived immigrant’s strategies to create a sense of home and to discover what those strategies are. From the outset, CRS has sought to provide a creative and spiritual home to artists and seekers from all over the world, and we believe that this exhibition speaks directly to our mission and the experience of so many members of our community.
The exhibition will open on October 19, 2015 and be on display through November 28, 2015. An opening reception with the artist will take place on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 7:30 – 9:30 pm.
While the photographs in this exhibition look like documentary-style records of the often messy and alien life that an immigrant lives prior to acquiring furnishings and fully settling in (does an immigrant ever fully settle in?), the photographs are actually meticulously staged with a highly controlled mastery of mis-en-scene and craft. This creates a tension between order and chaos, reality and artifice, into which the artist places herself and her own child and friends as models, challenging our initial impulse to label the life depicted as disordered. The more we look, the more we recognize objects, symbols, behaviors, relationships that give meaning and context to the home depicted. We recognize that we carry home within us and carry on a never-ending process of using our minds in diverse and complex ways to anchor ourselves and project our sense of home into our habitat, making it our own even in the midst of constant change.
We will meet at CRS in one of the smaller, cozier rooms for a guided meditation. Meditations include clearings of past traumas and emotional debrees. My focus is to help the group release anything that is holding them back whether that is spiritual, physical or mental through breathing techniques and visualizations. This is a good […]

Spiritual pioneer, James Twyman, best known for his NY Times bestseller, The Moses Code, is holding the largest A Course in Miracles celebration in history by sharing his latest film, "A Chorus in Miracles," in over 350 churches nationwide this October.
You are invited to join us at CRS on Sunday, October 25th at 2 pm for our screening as we join thousands around the world in celebration of the 50 year anniversary of A Course in Miracles.
A musical journey in celebration of the 50 year anniversary of A Course in Miracles, Twyman’s feature documentary film has been insightfully created as an homage to the most life-changing spiritual text of the 20th century. Because of the profound nature of the work scribed by Helen Schucman beginning in 1965, "A Chorus in Miracles" is a must see film for long-time A Course in Miracles students, those newly embarking on their own transformational journey and any person with an interest in spirituality and how it changes our lives.
