A Course in Miracles & A Course of Love weekly classes

A Course in Miracles

Mondays 7:30 – 9 pm
Taught by Yasuko Kasaki, assisted by Christopher Pelham

Know your life purpose and the meaning of your current situation clearly. Communicate with your Inner Teacher. Heal yourself and others.

These ongoing classes focus on mind training designed to help you to experience the lessons and wisdom of ACIM. Each class contains some lecture from the ACIM Textbook and/or Urtext, some discussion and Q&A, and typically 10 – 20 minutes of meditation, creative visualization and/or spiritual reading practice in order to experience mind change.

Our primary goal in these classes is for each student to learn to listen to the guidance of Holy Spirit and live his/her life with certainty and peace. Slowly, you will re-train your eyes to see the world around you without judgment. You will learn to communicate with your holy spirit.

It is OK to attend without having done the reading, but we highly encourage you to do the reading (and the workbook lessons on your own) if you can! This course is meant to be experienced rather than simply talked about. You can find the text online here, among other places.

Students of all experience levels and backgrounds are welcome!

Are you seeking spiritual fellowship? Join us and our Mighty Companions in journeying through A Course of Love (ACOL) and related material from A Course in Miracles (ACIM)!

Each week we read aloud a few paragraphs and practice various guided meditation and spiritual reading exercises (receiving messages from spirit). Mostly we seek to bear witness to the light in each of us, to share miracle mindedness, and to help one another to apply the spiritual principles to our daily lives.

We started in fall of 2015 but you can join in any time. Like yoga, it’s really more experiential than progressive learning.

Forty years ago Jesus dictated ACIM to the scribe Helen Schucman. More recently, over three years, he similarly dictated A Course of Love. Students of truth, whatever their background, will find that ACOL resonates with the heart.
