Mar Creation, Inc. and CRS invite you to the NY stop on the U.S. tour of singer/accordionist/composer Aco Tomine of Japan. Enjoy a glass of wine and an irresistible set of songs blending east and west. Accompanying herself on accordion, Aco sings old Japanese folk songs (Min-yoh) in a contemporary style, as well as her original folk songs, mixing traditional sounds with modern spirits, so everyone, including non-Japanese people, can enjoy them! It is her hope that these old songs will continue to be sung even hundreds of years from now.

The concert will take place on Friday the 13th of April, 2018 at 8 pm. Tickets are $20 and are available online, by phone (212-677-8621) and at at the door.

Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, Aco started her career in 2008 and now plays more than 150 shows a year. She recently performed in Paris, Bangkok, Singapore, and Taiwan. Several times she has visited quake-hit regions to give concerts, and she occasionally gives lectures at universities and high schools.
